House work seems to be getting extinct in today’s world. The average heavier weight person will gladly pay some kid to see him work at their home. Painting the house, mowing the lawn, walking the dog clearing the roof and many other things are things that most of us overweight or not pay for others to do.
If you are in need to lose some pounds then taking the responsibility for most of the house work should be your top priority. Instead of going all out on the latest P1000 exercise program perhaps getting more active at the house would work better.
So many people are so filled with enthusiasm and jump in the latest and greatest way to lose weight. They forget the basics that more activity and less food equal weight loss. You do not need expensive gym memberships and a custom tailored workout program. You just need to move around more and eat less.
Below are a couple of ideas for house work activities that will help you burn fat
Washing the Dishes
This point of contention among families can be used as a potent fat loss weapon. You do this by washing dishes with speed and aggression. Remember those movies of fast food restaurant dishes piled all up all waiting to be washed? Imagine you have 100 plates to wash at home.
You must first think of a way to wash them as fast as you can. It takes practice to make this into a cardiovascular exercise. Find a way to make washing dishes like an automobile assembly line. Rinse, Soap, Scrub, Rinse and Wipe the dishes together at each step. Remember to move quickly to elevate your heart rate.
Scrubbing the Bathroom
Doing this at least twice a week will ensure not only a clean gunk free bathroom but also a healthier heart. This type of cardio will be slow and steady, taking more time to finish. You can easily spend an hour inside the bathroom scrubbing each tile with a toothbrush.
Your heart’s exercise here won’t be too different from someone who is walking. Remember to keep moving and bend around corners. This is a great way to increase your real world flexibility too.
There are a lot more ideas that you can come up with. The important thing is that you work hard enough that you begin to sweat. If you begin to tire from these domestic chores just think about how hard you push yourself at gym to accomplish nothing. Doing this household chores can help your family and trim our waist as well.
